Project started in 2007, upgraded to 2008, recently upgraded to 2009.

For some reason, on one sheet only,  my viewport titles are semi-locked.  When I try to move the title far from its original position on the sheet, the title moves as I ask it to.  However, when I try to move the title just a bit or to nudge it up, down, left, or right, the title remains in the same place.  Similarly, when I try to move the entire detail (viewport plus title) a good distance (say halfway across the sheet), both the viewport and the title move as I ask.  But when I try to nudge the viewport with the title, only the viewport moves, and the title stays in the same location.

This is only happening on one sheet in the entire project.  (It happens to be a sheet of plan details.)  I have even remade the sheet and replaced all of my details onto the new sheet, but the viewports are still locked.

 Any ideas?

I don't know how to lock them so....  Not sure what you have done.

Most things in REVIT don't like to move very small distances.  But you can nudge them using your arrow keys.  The more zoomed in you are, the smaller the nudge increment.

Well, I can't even use the arrow keys to nudge the titles.  However, I just placed some section details onto the same sheet, and those titles move just how they're supposed to, and you can use the arrow keys to nudge the section detail titles.  So it's only the plan details that have a problem.  Is there some property of a plan detail that would cause this problem?

Thanks for any insight--this has been driving me crazy for months!

Sorry, never seen what you are experiencing.  I would delete the view from the sheet and re-insert it.  If that doesn't work, then you might try a re-install REVIT or talk to your supplier.  THIS IS NOT A NORMAL PROBLEM.

Having a similar problem in Revit 2009 - can't nudge Detail plan callout views on sheets, can't drag these views a small distance but can drag a long distance, and also can't adjust their crop boundaries after placing them on a sheet or else Revit crashes.  These problems for me are unique to Detail callouts specifically when used in plan Cryingusing a Plan callout always works fine).  Has anyone else encountered trouble specifically with Detail callouts in plan being fussy on sheets and/or crashing revit when trying to adjust their crop boundaries?

 Thanks
