I need to show the grid and level lines on my sections and building elevations, but in several cases they obscure important parts of the drawing.  If I were working in AutoCad (glad I'm not!) I would simply send them to the back.  What can I do in Revit to do the same?

Thanks,

Julie

Hi, in element properties - edit,  there is a selection that allows you to change the color of your segments.

You can use a light gray to lighten the segments

I like to go into the type properties of my grid lines and turn off the center segment, plate lines you can select and make sure they are set to 2D then stretch them wherever you want and it wont effect the model.

You also can pick in the element(s) you want and right-buttom go to "Override Graphics in View" and you can choose "By Element" and you can change the parameters "Visible, Halftone and Transparent" to that/those objects...
