Hi. I’m using RS '08. Please see attached file. I drew a frame with level beams & drew a slab. I then warped the slab by placing a point & lowering it 500. As you can see the frame remained horizontal. Is it possible to get the frame to move with the slab or have I messed up in the creation of this model? If not, what would be the easiest way to amend the beams? Please be aware this is a simple example, my project is a bit more complicated. Hope you can help. Cheers Dave F.

Create a reference plane and align and lock it to the slab and the beam. Any movement of the raference plans should force the two locked elements to follow.

Hi

For a warped slab that falls in 2 directions as per my example?

Sorry, i tried your idea but couldn't get it to work. Could you poste an example?

Using a reference plane, it will only conform to a single slope.

If you have it warped in two directions the only solution is to create a custom element.
