I have been reading several posts about how to add a sky to my rendering. Everyone says to change the settings under the Rendering Tab. I don't have "settings" under "Rendering". I just have "modify" and "rendering dialog." Does anyone know why that is and/or how I can change that?

(I'm working with Revit Architecture 2009.)

Hi, if you work with Revit 2008 you have a "Settings" buttom in a rendering tab but now with the 2009 you have right, you only has a "Modify" buttom and "Rendering Dialogue" buttom, see the video: http://screencast.com/t/gN7iBZegYsT

Just render with the Mental Ray sky, then save the image as a .png or .tiff, this will filter out the alpha channel (alpha = MR sky)

Then just create a drafting view and insert your sky image and size it, then insert your rendered png over the sky.

"Where do I find the "mental ray" sky option?" - in the same "Render Dialogue" you have "Background>Style", see picture attached...., you also can (before goes to rendering) go to the TOP menu and in "Settings-Sun and Shadows Settings" and in there you can change the settings to "By Date, Time and Place" to create the "exact" shadows projection in your model but i think you must read the HELP tutorials...
