You can create a shedule to walls to quantify "Family type, Height, Lenght, Area..." but "total amount of bricks"??? do you want to know the total of the wall in model in "Family Brick"?

the amount of bricks that would be used to build the wall.

can a parameter be added to a schedule that would work out an amount?

example in one square meter of a 115mm thick wall you will have +/- 52 bricks (an elevation View)

Just add a calculated value in your takeoff showing "Area/# of bricks per unit" and that will give you the total number of bricks for that wall type
