Relatively new at this REVIT-

Does anyone have a recomendation for getting floor plans in the same place on each sheet (e.g. 1st floor, RCP, 2nd floor, RCP, etc). Dragging the views onto the sheets seems to place them willy nilly and getting them to line up so that when you flip through a set the building stays in the same place seems time consuming. Is REVIT smart in this capacity in any way???

Anyone have a good system or a tool tip in the software that i am not aware of?

Thank you very much in advance.

You could create a witness line in paper space ... copy that & paste same place on each sheet then visually align to that.  Remember that you can bump views just like anything else and the closer you are zoomed in the smaller the bump.  We usually get close first then zoom in and bump/move the view.

Not perfect but it doesn't need to be.  Visually it will not jump anymore than what your printing error creates.

thanks revit-peeps! seems like there is no perfect way of doing this, but your advice is helpful nonetheless.

lets add this functionality to the Revit 2010 wish-list!
