Revit 2009

I am currently working on a renovation project (our first endeavor with Revit phasing) and have been fine so far with existing phasing, new construction and demo. I missed a few walls and accidentally built them as new instead of existing. I tried to change a generic 8" wall type from new to existing but it does not have a phase parameter. I scrolled to the bottom of the element properties and its just not there. I am not sure why it doesn't have this instance parameter as all the other walls in the project do and are working fine. I feel like I'm missing something simple. Anyone have any suggestions as to where this phasing option went?

thx.

Silly question, but is there a "Phasing" section, just with nothing below it?  And if there is one, are the two carrots on the left of that bar pointing up?  If they are pointing down, click them and it will expand the category.  That's the "simple" solution.

There isn't a Phasing section period. It is completely missing from the instance parameters section just on this one wall type. It's totally baffled me!
