Anyone know if Revit is good at designing log cabins?

Revit doesn't design anything - you do :-) Do a search in the forum and gallery using log. There is even a tutorial listed.

I guess I set myself for that one. Of course the program isn't the designer...just the assistant right?

This is interesting. I could think of a few approaches already, and the craziest (my favorite for being most challenging because it uses Revit biggest pain-in-the-neck tool) is a curtain wall !!!!! Can you make a curtain wall that resembles a log wall ?
