I'm trying to do a stair run that starts out straight than arches and then straightens out again. The problem I'm having is that the stringers don't form correctly or enclose the treds and risers correctly. I also can't figure out how to get the handrails to form and rise correctly. I've attached a revit file of the stair I'm working on with everything else purged from the file. Could some one please explain to me how this could be done with better results.

Oh, FYI I'm using Revit Architecture 2009

Thanks

It looks like you fixed the problem with the stringers, but the inner rail is still warpped. Thanks for the assistance.

Can anyone help with the rail issue?

Sorry for the Rail, i forgot about that, delete the interior rail and create a new one "By Host" in the stair...

I tried that It is still giving me the same problem. Maybe the interior radius is just too small for the rail to rise correctly as it makes that sharp of a turn.

Hi, pick in the Rail and pick "edit" then in left menu "Design Bar" pick in "Edit Joins", then go to the intersections and pick, in the top menu you have a button "RAIL JOIN:" in there you can select the type of join you want in each segment, and you select another inters. and repeat the process until you have the shape you want, but in this case i think the arc (angle) is too small and give problems, try it... other way is delete that segment and create in place.....
