HI

I am trying to edit the door family as per requirement but its not working.

See attached snapshot

I want to flush the frame edge with the interior side and the door swing should be on other side as marked in the magenta lines. Basically i want to flip the door at the same location.

When i use flip then it place the door to the exterior side.

Is it possible? Kindly note that my wall thickness is 640mm.

Thnx in advance

Hi, When you pick in that door you should be able to see a couple of blue arrows, one of them have an arrow to the left and the right and the other is to top and bottom, if you pick in the first (left-right) the door goes to where you want, to the exterior side, and then in the properties you can modify in the "Offset" parameter the location where you want to place the door (more to the exterior or more to the interior), i think this solve your problem with out to edit the family.... (I belive that door are 100% Parametric)

Thnx Typhoon

When i select the door i get only one blue arrow. See attached snapshot.

Does it mean that door is not 100% parametric?

Also i tried to find the offset parameter in the property bar but unable to find it. Can you plz tell?

Thnx once again.

Rams

Sorry RAMS, my mistaque, you only had ONE Blue Arrow because it's a "Double door", it will appears the 2 blue arrows when are a "Single door", the "offset" parameter must be in the properties of the door "EDIT-NEW" and the name (offset) depends like the family was created, you must try to change those parameters and "find" what is it to change this offset...
