Help menu never explains why on anything. Where can I go to get a basic understanding on independant and dependant views. thanks

I don't understand... straight out of the help "All copies, known as dependent views, remain synchronous with the primary view and all other dependent views, so that when view-specific changes (such as view scale and annotations) are made in one view, they are reflected in all views." Can't get any clearer than that!

Rquist, are you talking about to create a "Matchline" to split dependent views of a large floor plan view? Or like WWhub says....
