Hello all, I have a basic basketball hoop that I have made as a family. However, I put in invisible lines (one for plan and one for rcp) to show where the backboard should be in relation to the back of the court. These lines show up fine in the family editor, but when I insert it into the project, they are only usable from 3d view (i.e. they don't pre-highlight or highlight when I pick the backboard). I checked the visibility in the family editor and the lines are checked as visible in all views, so I'm not sure why they won't show up. Also, it doesn't seem to want to snap to the anywhere on the symbolic lines (drawn on plan view). Does anyone know why this might be? Any help would be appreciated... steve

I just wanted the symbol lines to be placeholders so that I could snap the center of them to the center of the endline of the court and the backboard would be in the right place. FreeRangeMonkey - File sent, thanks for looking at it for me.
