Hi, I cant find anywhere how to solve my problem.

I have a floor plan, and in the hall/landing areas i have a standard horizontal hatch patten to denote the applicable area. The hatch displays fine, but it cuts out my door swings that open out onto the hall/landing areas. Any ideas ?

You can set your hatch pattern to transparent if it is a filled region.  You don't say where or how you got the hatch.

Hi, you must "Split" the slab in that area and give them the material and the pattern you want ....

Then pick in the Filled region, go to properties, edit-new - background (opaque / transparent)

Can you put some screenshots with shade to figure out what do you want?
