To Tech Support Question, Can I make a base cabinet that when stetched (wider) new doors are added so my camera view of the base cabinet does not have one over sized too wide door but has two or more doors depending on how wide the base cabinet was made? Question, Can I have a cost per linear (per object type) meter calculated, eg if I model fascia at 10 linear metres at a cost of $10 per metre can I get the schedule to calculate and display in a column the total cost of $100?

Hi, What you are asking is doable. But it needs time from you to nest families and assign parameters. If you see a downloadable family here in Revitcity that says "parametric" model that means it has the capability to add/subtract elemets from its main family. Like a door that you are trying to have. See the Storefront Wall family to get the idea. Revit can do calculations in your schedules, you just have to have knowledge on how to use the operands and how they are organized. It's not that hard just follow some rules and it's even in the Help Menu.
