WHEN RUNNING A STRING OF DIMS CAN YOU TURN OFF DIMS SAY THAT SHOW INTERIOR WALL THICKNESS. SINCE ALL MY INTERIOR WALL DIMS ARE 3 1/2" IT GETS A LITTLE CLUTTERED IN TIGHT AREAS ON THE PLAN. WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING THUS FAR IS JUST RUNNING SINGLE DIMS ACROSS ROOMS AND STOP SKIP THE WALL AND START ON THE OTHER SIDE TO THE NEXT ROOM AND SO ON THROUGH OUT THE ENTIRE FLOOPLAN.

Sorry if I misunderstand, but why dimension both sides of the wall? The width is already determined by the wall construction, so location of one side should be enough for a contractor to build off of...

not that both side are dimensioned. but if i am running continious string of dimms through a floorplan rather than having to dim each room seperatly wall to wall i just continue it through the whole thing. i dim to core facce rather that cenerline so when i due this i get a 3 1/2 measurement for each dividing wall. i,m just trying to eliminate the 3 1/2" dim.
