Can I stretch an object for example base cabinet and have new doors insert as it gets longer?

Can I add a dollar value to object like casework and extrusions and have that value increase as the object gets longer?

You can edit one family, change the parameters (lenght, height, etc) like do you want and save with another name to don't loose the first one...

Thanks Typhoon for your feed-back, I understand how to make new object types, my question is a little more complex,

Q is how do I make a type (for example base cabinet) display a new door as I strectch the object,

So in the scenario where I start with a 6oomm wide base cabinte with one door, can I stretch this object (while in a model view) nad have a second door detailed as I stretch the original object to 1000mm?

Your gonna have to use arrays mixed with functions to control this ability, I had to do the same thing, and it is a pretty complex family.

Yeah, TABEST is right, you must create a family with some arrays to control that, it's a Complex (simple) family to do...
