I am using Revit 2009

Refer to theattached image for a description of my problem. How do you adjust the extension of a pre-cast double t framing member to extend to the correct location horizontally. My beam system lines up with the grid line, and my double t terminates just short of the beam. I am having the same problem with rectangular beams

I have a similar  problem with rectangular concrete beams and their relationship to Double T's. If a beam system of double T's snaps to a gridline on which a rectangular beam is also placed below, or if you place a rectangular beam below a beam system of double t's, the beam system of t's will terminate at the same plane that the rectangular beam begins (i'.e. just short of actually  bearing on the rectangular beam). However, if I redraw the beam system(s) (oh so time consuming), I can offse the edge to terminate past the gridline to bypass this problem.

However, if I terminate the beam system on the same line that a supporting girder/rectangular beam exists, you can't juest edit the extents of the beam system to terminate beyond the rectangular beam (i.e. cantilever).

Any thoughts? I woud think that you could somehow disassociate a beam system from a supporting member, but once a beam system snaps to a girder center, the result is wacky (like the image posted) and you can't edit it without re-drawing.
