Hiding walls:
I am creating a landscape plan view with retaining walls. I have created a new wall type for the retaining wall but I want these walls to only show up on my landscape plan. Not on my other floor plan views. Does any one know how to hide the retaining walls and have the walls only visible on my landscape plan? Category looks like an interesting feature to control visibility but there does not appear to be a way to create new categories or set the category of a specific wall type.
How do others control the visibility of certain pieces of their projects in different plan views?
Bonus question for retaining walls: How do you get the texture map to show up on the “sides and top” of the wall.

There are two ways:
1) assign your retaining wall to a workset then turn it off to all views that you don't want it to appear
2) create a subcategory of your wall say retaining wall then create your wall as in-place and assign it to retaining wall subcategory then you can turn it off by view without affecting other walls.
As for the materials for the top portion of the wall use the paint bucket tool then apply a material similar to the wall side material.
