Cost The standard practice is to quantify an item of construction and ascribe a rate to it; the product of the rate and quantity is the cost to the owner for the supply&fixing of that particular item. Count While certain items are quantified in terms of Volume and certain others in terms of Area, some are per unit of count. However, count is not a "Calculatable" field. 1. How is the "COST" field in revit understood? 2. How do I make a comprehensive Schedule / material takeoff for all items of construction that I have modelled in revit including the rate of various items and cost to the owner for the project?
