Anyone out there know if it's possible to show the roof out-line on the floor plan? I've tried without results. Thanks in advance. Dave

Linework command and view range: Temporarily change the view range on the plan you want the roof dashed in on to a value that will show the roof as much as you need. So, for eaves only you don't need to set it as high as if you want valleys and ridges for example. While it is changed, use the linework command to change the roof lines to "overhead", then set view range back to what it was. The roof will now be dashed in over the plan. If you change the sketch of the roof you'll need to redo the linework. This is true for ceilings too... However if you move walls that have an association with the roof (like from using the pick walls option to create the roof sketch or by attaching a wall to a roof), the linework will remain intact and move accordingly. Ignore this... I'm checking for a forum bug that Steve reported.
