Well...

I am using Revit Archimatecture 2008 and was just wondering if anyone has ever had any success with creating a 2 pick repeating element with an AWI casework family? Upper or lower cabinet. It does not matter. Can this be done? I am a little "new" when it comes to family building and creating a repeating element.

Let me try and explain it better. Say you have some casework that needs to go from one corner of a room to the next in a linear fashion. In other words can you pick one point/corner of the room and, in essence, drag and pick the other corner of the room and have the casework fill in? Am I even making any sense?

Can Revit actually let you use a whole family as a repeating element?

As always, thank you all for any input!

I think this is what you are after.....

It doesn't repeat a family as such, but makes a 2 pick family which repeats elements in that family.

We use them all the time for robes, benches, overhead cup'ds etc.

Good luck!
