in revit 2009

how do create a callout tag? I want create a tag to callout a section or detail, one that bubbles the area rather than showing the cut line. this way i can bubble the whole elevator and elevator lobby instead of just the cut line of the section.

I am not sure exactly what you are asking.

You can use the "Callout" command under the view menu. This will create a rectangular shaped callout with a tag attached by a leader line - is that what you mean?

The actual Tag for the callout is slected under Settings>View Tags>Callout Tags.

You can create your own then load it into the project/template then select it in the menu location above.

When you insert these callouts you also have the option to "Refernce Other View" below the menu. If you want you can cut the section, hide the tag and then put in the Bubble callout and refernce the section view.
