In want to change the text which appears as " As Indicated" on the scale label in a sheet when you have varying scales of drawings. I have entered the sheet family and found the scale to be a lable but still no clue how to change the default text. Any ideas how??

Click on the label, then at the top is "Edit Label" and in the box that opens you can change the sample value in there.

As far as I know, from several attempts, this is not possible at this time !! Yes, believe it or not, that something this simple, is NOT possible. The text "As indicated" is fixed and hard wired. I have tried to change the family types using this conditional formatting for the Scale parameter line (but without any success): =IF (Scale = "As indicated", "AS NOTED", Scale) Let's hope they address this in the near future. As a general policy, we are using the simple rule of Out of the Box Revit. We try not to waste time manipulating what seems to be a Revit standard.....

Why not create a shared parameter and call it something like "Different Scaling". Give it a visibilty parameter, and when you have views with different scales, hide "As Indicated" and show your "Different Scaling" parameter. Then you can change the text to whatever you want. If you don't need to change the text, just create generic text and apply the visibility parameter as mentioned above. Hope this helps.

Actually we had that idea presented too, but then the common thought was: NO! Let's keep it simple, and use it the way it comes out of the box.
