is it possible to create a dimension style with a suffix or prefix embedded into the dimension. idea is to make a dimension style with no tick marks for vanities, so it looks like only text when you place the dimension line on the vanity object line to it seems to disappear. this allows me to chance the vanity in the style selector while having the dimension update simultaneously. rac 2008

I would create a custom tag that just lists the width of the vanity family. That should work the way you want.
