Hello People, I'm a student who study architecture. I found this problem in several PCs. When I pushed Rendering button, it takes just 1 second to complete rendering, and there is just a black screen instead of realistic image. It's just all black. I found some PCs have this same problem, and others have not. I'm sure that there are no problem in the path of rendering folder. Does anybody know how to solve this problem??

Did you do an exterior or interior render? What lighting scheme did you use?

Surely, I tried every light options. And there is another fact that I found. Acctually, I used to be able to render through RAC2009, But after I upgrade my hard to new one, it doesn't work anymore. So I think some hardware setting is different. Cause some friends have exactly same Hard disk with me, but they can use renderer in RAC 2009. I really cannot get the answer in anywhere.

It must be something with the graphics card...

This may seem obvious, but do you have the sun settings and time set to night?

I checked my sun settings, and tried re-setting the time, but I think the options are not related to this symptom.

Can you upload the file so we can have a look at it?

Here is a capture image. I don't think you can read the text. Cause it's Korean Version. But as you see, the render time is just 2 second, and there is just black color on the screen. and I set every settings correctly. I used revit 2009 renderer for last project, so I know about the settings enough.

Upload your project with this website and post the link to the file and we can all take a look at it. List what view you are trying to render and we can try it out. http://www.filedropper.com/schmaticdevelopment3

it's odd to think that you cannot produce high resolution images with revit architecture 2009 - but, we cannot if we max out all the setting - everything goes to a halt - it crashes.

I think I got the solution to your problem, have you checked the lighting scheme, cause when it is set to Interior artificial only it renders & nothing is shown except black screen I have attached an image for your reference.

I have the same problem. With an exterior scene I set both sun and artificial light and the rendering process stops at 10% and I get only a black screen. If I set the quality a draft it works. Could be se size of the file?
