Please! This is the issue: I have got a picture of a material that I want to use for rendering on my building. How do I add it into Revit 7.0 material library so I can use it in the project? Please! ///Rickard

Place jpeg/bmp in Revit rendering/materials folder. (application data/autodesk/revit_?/rendering/accurenderredist/support/material) (? is version of revit you are using) Go into revit/settings/materials. Select any material and duplicate. Give it new name In Accurender-material box select arrow Right click any existing material and select New/Default Grey Go to maps tab, and Add Go to above location and select your material OK twice and save as a User material You will need to play around with scale etc to suit project settings etc within the map dialogue box (after selecting material)

In accurender, edit the material, edit the map, in the first tab there is a scale dimension (in metres) that it uses to define the size of the sample. hth.

Sorry to be a pain, quoting "In accurender, edit the material, edit the map, in the first tab there is a scale dimension (in metres) that it uses to define the size of the sample." ive tried modifing the scale but is just doesn't appear to work, can you let me know if i am in the right direction with the attached, i have posted another thread "scaling Jpegs for render scenes" and i have tried fazerneil's method but that doesnt appear to work either, any fool proof help be much appreciated, thanks
