Hello! I've been trying to set up some walls, with some good outcome so far. I found a tutorials that shows how to use multiple wall sweeps to simulate tile (half the height of the wall). This works fine untill I try to create a T-intersection between two walls (see image) and the sweep won't clean up. 1) is this the right way of doing tiling? are there better techniques? 2) if this is the right way, how do I change the sweeps hierarchy as opposed to the other layers of the wall? thanks for checking this out!

hi WWHub, that is actually how I tried it first, before running into the sweeps. I figure it makes more sense to create a thin wall since it eliminates the need to create several wall types with or without tile on either one or both sides of the wall. If anybody agrees or disagrees, please let me know. Thanks!

only takes 2 wall types, 1 sided and two sided. In element properties, you can edit your wall such that the tile isn't full height, so just another way to do it. Advantage to walls over sweeps is that it is part of the wall, just change it's type and you can have/not have tile. disadvantages being that you have to split walls to end the tile. I think it also boils down to if you have a lot of tile going in... if it is only in a few places, then a sweep makes sense, but if it is all over the place, perhaps walls make more sense.
