I have a diaper changing station family (from the RevitCity site) that is wall based and I want to attach it to a toilet partition (which is not a wall). Is there a way to change this so it will attach to something otherthan a wall?

You will have to build a new family that is face based. You should be able to copy from one family to the other.

Really this is the only way? I'm having trouble copying, can anyone provide any more direction?

You will have to start your new family adding reference planes and parameters to match the other. Then, you will probabl;y only be able to copy sketches of the solids. The solids themselves will not transfer. Just have the two families open side by side in tiled views.
