Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that Revit 2009 uses up a lot more computer resources than 08?

I constantly get low virtual memory warnings, and speed has decreased significantly since we upgraded the central file... Some guys in the design team run out of memory and revit shuts down unexpectedly.  I never had any memory issues with 08.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to speed things up?

by the way we are running 09 on XP...

30 gigs eh?

Sounds like you should increase your VM your RAM or possibly enable the 3GB switch. Ask your IT guy if you don't know what that means.

I run 09 on xp and vista with large projects and never run out of memory. its all about resource management.
