Ok before I get a backlash, I have been searching the forums through the Room and area tags and cant find an answer. I found one post with my problem with no reply to the question. I figured out the room area and room names thing pretty easy. My area sheet is done with square footages and legend. All is well. My problem is I just want the room names to show on the floor plan sheet. I can bring them in and it gives me the room name per the room i am going to put it in. it knows they are there. If i click its a duplicate. I just want the existing ones to show up. I did read your posts saying can only have them in one view. need to copy paste. is this for old versions or revit. It seems once they are there since its an object now that in visibility options I can turn them on. but they are allready on or checked. I am just a little puzzled on this. Probably something I just havent come across yet. I am at the point of just putting text in the floor plan with the room names. I dont need an area plan. Just want the room names. any help appreciated. Thanks

I think I was trying to do the same thing...If you use the room tool in your floor plan and then use the Tag Room tool in the sheet it should let you put the room names in.
