for me I just deleted the view and created a new one. I think it worked. been a long time.

I thought i would add to this post since its over 9 years old. 

I adjusted my line weight setttings by opening the manage tab locate Object styles, here locate Imported objects (CAD links) expand the (+) mark next to all of your links select all layers and change all to 1, do this for all links that are of concern.  This makes your plots look like what you view is displaying if you selected Thin lines as described earlier in this thread.

 

Note: this is a description of how to make the CAD links plot without looking like huge lineweights

This was from so long ago that I'm unsure if anyone will see this.

BUT I was having the exact same problem and still am. I did notice, however, that if I go to "print" my pages, the line weights show up in the preview and when exporting sheets! They still don't show up live, which is annoying, but maybe this is a way to get through a project for now and can help someone temporarily. I have Revit 2020 now, maybe 2021 is better.
