I am currently trying to create an instance where below a window, the wall actually has a 1" setback reveal.  I have tried splitting the curved wall at each point where the windows start and stop with the intention of creating a wall type that simply has a altered section at this location.  Errors occur at random split locations and won't let the wall be broken properly, which eliminates this possibility.     I am unsure as to whether this instance needs to occur as part of the window, a different wall section, or just as a reveal at each location.  I would like to make this a feature that could be used in other types of windows also.

Thanks

We have made a custom component for this detail.

This works on flat walls - you have stated that you have a curved wall? I am not sure how this will work for that type, but anyway.....

Make a new Generic Wall hosted Family.

In exterior view setup your reference planes and dimension them with instance dimensions for height and width, and in plan put a reference plane off the face of the wall to say 50mm from the exterior face and make it a type dimension for the offset from the exterior face.

Create a void extrusion that locks to the height and width dimension then in plan lock it to the offset reference plane.

Use the "cut Geometry" tool to cut the void out of the wall.

You can also add a new solid infill to the void to show a differnent material.
