Hi all.
There are two things I am stuck with and can't work out.
1. How would you create a dutch gable?
2. Is it possible to create a niche in a wall or cut-outs?
If so how?
Can anyone please help?
Thanks in advance.
Dave.

Try this tutorial for roofs: watch out for word wrap paste the text between the *....* (not the stars too)
There is a arch top niche available in the Revit content at Autodesk's Revit site. The key is to use a void for your niche and CUT GEOMETRY to get the void to cut into the wall.

Since you solved that problem you will know how to solve this one..
1. Creating a verandah roof with a bullnose.
Thanks!

Create a profile that matches your "bullnose".
Load Family > your bullnose profile
MODELING > HOST SWEEP > ROOF FASCIA create a new type that uses your bullnose profile and apply to your roof edge
