Hi all. There are two things I am stuck with and can't work out. 1. How would you create a dutch gable? 2. Is it possible to create a niche in a wall or cut-outs? If so how? Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance. Dave.

Try this tutorial for roofs: watch out for word wrap paste the text between the *....* (not the stars too) *http://revit.autodesk.com/pillar/custserv/web/service/support_4.0/faq/Implementation_Series/week_7/week_7.html#Start%20Roof%20Exercises* There is a arch top niche available in the Revit content at Autodesk's Revit site. The key is to use a void for your niche and CUT GEOMETRY to get the void to cut into the wall. Post edited on 2004-01-21 20:52:59

Create a profile that matches your "bullnose". Load Family > your bullnose profile MODELING > HOST SWEEP > ROOF FASCIA create a new type that uses your bullnose profile and apply to your roof edge Post edited on 2004-01-22 20:35:37
