Good day I've created an in-place roof as a sidewalk that would follow a specific contour. I am about to add voids to the roof (sidewalk) to make way for accessible ramps for wheelchair users when suddenly it seems I cannot cut it with a void anymore. Please see attached. Thank you.

Why don't use "Floor Slab"? What version of Revit are you talking about?

It's 2009 and I'm quite new to it.....would it now allow floor slabs to attach to toposurfaces and follow their contours? I'll be glad to know how. Thanks.

No, not yet but with the slabs you can add points and break lines to moddeling your slab, i think in this case it's more easy to do what do you want...
