I would love some sort of tool that one would use in sheet views, to renumber views. Perhpas you could select the tool, then click sequentially on the views in the order they should be numbered? It can be very bothersome to manually renumber everything if you have to add a detail near the beginning of a 25 or 30 detail sheet...

I agree. And would add that this tool would be handy in other instances, like with door and window tags.

There is an add on package that will re-number doors ... and probably windows. Also - remember that you can always delete the views from the sheet then re-insert them in the order you want. I sometimes find this a lot easier.

For my firm, it would be nice if you could assign a region on the sheet a certain number. We have a grid on our sheets that are sequenced 1-5 along the top and A-D down the side. I would love it if the title bar numbered itself according to the grid it's placed in.

I just checked out this CADDaddy tool and it is awesome! To renumber the views on the page as this original thread is aking about, you have to do it in two sweeps (I do letters to get rid of all number associations and then numbers in the UDRL order per our firm's standards) to get it to work properly because Revit doesn't allow duplicate view numbers, but this is SOOO much easier than the alternative of picking each one and renumbering. I also like the pick order for sheets that don't fit into the typical sequencing. Toggle planes option is pretty cool too because I was using filters to do this and it was a timely process. The hide in views option is great too because I often make a false ceiling or don't want to show certain levels or grids and it's nice to be able to hide them in all views! Cool, I will be asking my boss to buy this for us as soon as we get Revit 2015 (so we don't have to buy both versions)! :D
