I would like to add roads to a 3-d site w/ topos and have the roads follow the topo lines.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Could you split the topo surface and just apply a road material to the desired area?

Hey Typhoon, what is the point of splitting a toposurface, when you can create different materials using the sub-region command?

Hi TIMBO, the sub-regions correspond to areas part of a topographical surface that can be applied different materials that area and automatically adjust itself to relief of the area to which they relate and not cause any change in that area and can be removed at any time. The subregions are normally used to represent traffic routes, parking, walks and other spaces for themselves outside of a building, and have the additional advantage of the respective areas can be quickly identified and extracted for maps of quantities.
