Is there a way for me to specify that the main level finished floor level in my project is to read the actual finished floor number from the civil drawings? It automatically uses the default of 0'-0", and I want it to read as the actual elevation.

First you will need to select the Elevation marker and go to Properties-->Edit/New and change the Elevation Base value to Shared. You will now need to go to Tools-->Project Position/Orientation-->Relocate this project. You will then click outside an elevation view and drag the cursor up to the specified elevation. This procedure moves every thing in the project relative to the elevation.
