We are new to Mental Ray in Max.

I have just received 3ds Design and Revit 2009 and am playing around with the fbx import.All of our materials/families are correct and producing great renders in Revit (with Revit lighting) but when imported into Max I just can get the lighting to behave and the materials to appear correctly. The scene appears dark only the lower half of the room is illuminated

 Any tips with importing or with Mental Ray would be appreciated.
