Does anyone know how to turn off visibility of walls from lower floors? (I am seeing the walls drawn on the floor below and I have to go through and hide each one - there must be an easier way)

Hi, there is a easy way, in VP go to "underlay - NONE" also in View Range and here you can control the Top, Cut and Bottom plane...

Typhoon has basically covered two items.

1.    Do you have an underlay on?

2.    Have you controlled your depth of view correctly.

Both of these are correct but you may have another problem.  If your first floor walls are set to go to your second floor, they will show on your second floor even if you have your view range set to the second floor.  Of course if you edit the floor, REVIT will ask you if you want to attach walls that go up to floor to the bottom of the floor.  When you answer yes, this will correct the problem until you add another wall....  Many otions to handle this once you understand the problem.

There is another solution that is possible but I do not recommend it except on large projects.  You can place first floor elements in a first floor workset and turn those off in VG on the second floor.
