yes....that's why I posted this...you get this error message.....btw using 9.1...I have to look at the 08 "Cannot copy selection." Little confused why you can't do this...there competitors-Microstation and Archicad allow you to do this...it's great for keeping a consistent look in your drawings....not craszy in moving view around each time a I make a sheet. Also it bothers me that you can't swap out views...for example...you make one floor plan base sheet and swap out different elevations of building, giving you a consistent look...

I see what you mean. For now you just have to settle in manually locating your views. What I do with typical titleblocks that share the same legend, and if they are that many, I just use a similar titleblock with the legend/notes on it. Yes, you can't swap views, right now, you can't duplicate sheets and you cannot place plans exactly as one top the other (floor plan, roof plan, ceiling plan) as you would like on a transparent sheets..you would want them to align. Suggestions: 1. Do insertion points for your legend, notes and schedules or even views. You can use reference plane, they dont plot. 2. Draw invisible lines as rulers/guides on your border/titleblocks. Though, views snaps to horizontal and vertical relationship, rulers add your hor/vert control on sheets 3. Wait. I think they're working towards that goal.
