Curently room and ceiling schedules are two seperate entites. The best you can do is to use a calculated value that takes volume/ area to give you a height. This assumes that you have a flat ceiling (no step, angles, etc) and that the height of the room matches the ceiling height. 09 is suppose to support the latter in that ceilings are now seen as room bounding. So you should be able to set your room height to 12' and then it will get cut by the ceiling, either that or you have to attach the room vertically to the ceiling; dont recall which. Either way I havent really had the need/ time to test it in 09. We just ended up using ceiling tags on the RCP which are smart and read out the actual height (even if moved) HTHNick

I have come up with a workaround which isnt ideal but seems to be the least risky in terms of automatic updating of changes as the ceilings will usually be added to the model at a stage when the rooms and their locations have been decided - there is more likely to be a change to the ceiling type than the room number/name:-
Created a shared parameter for the ceilings called "ceiling room name/number"
when creating a ceiling manually enter in that field the room name or number
you can then create a ceiling shedule which includes room names/numbers which can be placed on a sheet, aligned with a room finishes schedule, so that it appears to be part of the same schedule
