Since Revit is parametric and everything updates everywhere, there are multiple places in which a detail can be referenced from. My detail view title has the referenced sheet and detail # so the contractor can go to where the view came from. The problem is, I have created a section detail callout on my elevation. This in turn also created a plan callout which I have hidden. the problem is, revit wants to use the plan callout as the reference and not the one from the elevation. Since I created it in elevation, shouldnt that be the reference point? Any ideas?

I am revising this question. I see there was an answer to a smilar situation for 2009, but I cannot make sense of it to apply it to 2010 version. In my case I have a section that is referring back to the wrong plan. (I have several plan views) a) can this only be altered when FIRST creating the detail or section (so I would have to delete them all and make all new ones) b) the other answer (for V2009) seemed to suggest editing the family, but surely it is an instance parameter that I need to edit, since I just want to change one 'referenced sheet' sheet number (which is there, but greyed out)
