I'm having a problem with a key schedule. I'm trying to add some shared parameters to a key schedule in order to allow that schedule to manipulate several things within my project. For example, within several of my doors I have created thresholds and kick plates and linked their visibility to shared yes/no parameters. I am then trying to create a key schedule containing hardware sets numbered 1-20 lets say, and going through and assigning certain hardware sets with those parameters. Then in my door schedule, I can assign the specific hardware set thus controlling the visibility of those multiple objects straight from my door schedule. I hope all this makes sense. Thanks.

Your Key Schedule works upon your keynote file and not anything else as far as I'm aware. You will have to try and link those keynotes to your keynote schedule otherwise your just going to have to do it the normal schedule way where you can put shared parameters.

Keynotes and Key Schedules are completely different things actually and I can't find any instance of one affecting the other. I haven't been able to figure out how to include shared parameters in the key schedule either. I'm trying to create key schedule parameters as type parameters that I can then tie to my door families. My key name is the door type and then I want that to populate the door material & finish and the frame material & finish. As it is now, I have to manually go through and assign each door's door type and then they key works to populate the other info. I tried making the the door type a calculated field in the door schedule and making it equal to the shared parameter in my door family but that didn't work. Anyone have any suggestions?
