In Revit Structure 2008, is it possible to convert a framing elevation into a section? So that it keeps it annotations and dimensions and thus forth? Thank you for any help

Create a section cut as if it is cutting anything and looking to the direction of your elevation view. From your elevation view, copy to clipboard all annotaions, dimensions, detail lines, etc. and use Paste aligned, same place.
