Hello everyone, I have been having trouble with the roof for a building.  When I set up a general roof with the quick button, it creates a 4 panelled roof where the roof peak is only about half the length of the building (the roof raises to the peak from all 4 sides).  What I need to do is have just a 2 panel roof where the peak of the roof goes the length of the building (the roof raises only from the two lengthwise sides).  I am not an Architect so I apologize if I don't know some of the technical names for stuff on here.  Any help you could give me would be great.  Thank you.

You need to edit the roof.

When in Sketch Mode- turn OFF "Toggle Roof Sloping" for the two side that you do not want hipped. Then click "Finsih Sketch". Job Done.

Also, remember to then use the "Attach" command to join the end walls to the underside of the roof.

 Regards,

Ian
