Hi all,

 I have to know:

Is it possible to display the membrane layer (in wall structure) as a dashed lines in detail section view and tag it as a material?

Thanks to all

No, Membrane layer won't allow you to give it a thickness & hatch it. But you can oversize your finish and draw over it a hidden line (in detail/drafting view) that you want. Or for drafting purposes, you can assign a Finish as a function instead of using the Membrane layer. Then you will be able to use a cut pattern and if you have ACAD.pat, acad_isow100 will be fine for a pattern, just adjust the scale to suit. If your cut detail is not that many, just do a hidden line on your drafting view, i suggest.
