REVIT STRUCTURE 2008

WHEN INPORTING A RAM (*.RSS) MODEL INTO A 'CLEAN' REVIT DRAWING THE 'TOP OF STEEL' DO NOT ALIGN. (GIRDERS ARE W18x AND JST ARE W12x) I AM NOT SURE WHERE THE PROBLEM IS OCCURING - A RAM SETTING OR A REVIT SETTING.

THE REVIT ANALYTICAL MODEL PICKS THE CENTEROF EACH BEAM AND THOSE ARE ALIGNED. IN THE REVIT 'USERS GUIDE' PAGE 288 SAYS THAT IF DEFAULT POSITION OF THE CREATION PLANE IS A LEVEL THE BEAM'S CREATION PLANE IS AT THAT LEVEL. HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE DEFAULT ANALYTICAL MODEL POSTION AT A LEVEL TO BE TOP AND CENTER OF BEAM.

OR ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED..

Hi Mark,

I actually haven't used Revit Structure myself... I would suggest you post this question on the AUGI forums if you haven't already as there are a lot more revit structure users on those forums...
