Greetings all,

Wondering if you have run accross this issue with the 2009 version.

I copied and upgraded my project to 2009 and a perticular thing has happened.   In my RCP I can see my HVAC registers and sprinkler heads just fine, look great.  but the issue is when it comes time to plot.  They disappear and when I export them to a ACAD file I get my sprinkler heads but my HVAC registers are still missing.  It gets even crazier.. I can look at the ACAD block list and the block is there for the HVAC... and I can see them if I place them in ACAD.. Anyone run accross this??

 Mike

It sounds like a memory issue...

What are your system specs?

Ahh Found the little pain.....

After searching a bit more found another post that was exactly the same problem that I was having.  I guess there is a little change from 2008 to 2009 with all of those old families that sneek in.

All of the Light Fixtures I have in the file worked, which was wierd.  But my HVAC register and Sprinkler Head were not.  Well I had to go in and create a opening to the family ceiling level and that made everything work fine.  So I guess I didnt have a plotting problem at all it was a display problem / bug.

I'll post the other thread as soon as I find it again.

Thanks for the reply Mr. Spot. I actually was thinking that could be a possible problem

 Mike
