We are using Revit Architecture 2008 in our office. Someone mentioned to me that there was a way to generate a "Partition Types" reference sheet. Can anyone confirm this? Is there a way to generate Partition Types without drawing the partition independentially?

You can use a legend to show types of any family.  Just start a legend then from the drafting tab, pick legend component and on the options bar, pick your item be it wall, window, door .... casework ... whatever.  The only problem with legends is that you can not dimension these items.  You have to add enough linework to do that.

We've started using this command for our Partition types now too. GREAT command I'm using it for so much more than just partition types now. Even using it for a few details, as well as General Notes too!!!

Some legend components can be tagged and dimensioned. Windows, doors, fuirnitures, lighting fixtures are some of the legend components that you can dimension.
