I have one column coming in between one of the room. Now when i do the column encasement using wall the room area gets changed. How can i get my actual area with column encasement? Thnx in advance

Hi, pick in the column go to properties and uncheck "Room Bounding"

The column is coming from the one of the revit link so that option is not possible.

Try unchecking the room bounding on the walls.

In the left side "Room and Area" Settings-At wall finish, then pick in Area Plan then Area boundary and select the perimeter...

I figured it out. After selection the column encasement wall i uncheck the room bounding as suggeted by typhoon and everything is OK. But i think the elements from the link should be more inteliigent. Anyway thnx everybody
